INTRODUCTION

Daringbadi - Also referred to as “Kashmir of Odisha”, the hill station Daringbadi is located in the Kandhmal district of Odisha in the Eastern India. Being a very famous tourist destination, the hill station is located at an elevation of 3000 ft. Located amidst echoing valleys, coffee plantations, amazing meadows and pine forests, visiting Daringbadi is worth and a perfect summer retreat for all who is actually looking forward to spend their time in peace, solace and collectedness. Surrounded from all over by dense forests, the place is known to be named after Daring Saheb, who was the British ruler of this area that time. Though, the place was not very much popular and recognized during the British era but nowadays, it is among a popular tourist destination and visited by many locals and tourists from all around over the weekends who came here to find a bit of peace and fun during the summer time. Over the last few years, the place has actually grown in terms of fame and popularity and visit especially during the summers, due to the presence of forests, gardens, waterfalls, hills and streams here.
